Advocacy Day 2022Several MACRAO members attended College Access Advocacy Day 2022 in Lansing on Tuesday, April 26. This year's event was organized by the Michigan College Access Network (MCAN), partnering with MACAC, MSFAA, and MACRAO. It was the largest in-person advocacy event to date, with 87 attendees meeting with 76 state representatives, state senators, and their staff members. If you weren't able to attend, you can view the 2022 Legislative Priorities document and the recommendations for the use of the state's remaining ARPA funding. These documents were shared with Michigan's legislators during our meetings with them.
